In light of the last post, I've decided to make a little change to today's update: I'm not drinking before I write and post. Yesterday... I had not drank much, but I wad definite a bit lazier in my style. That might have been because yesterday was just a really long day and I was exhausted... but I can't take that chance. So today, I've just returned from my run (newly titled "Regents Circuit") and am craving a bit of brain storm fueled blogging. Let us begin.
Before we begin (gotcha), to make this more interesting, you should imagine me narrating this post in a silly voice (perhaps like some kind of evil wizard, that is what i'm going to do... "saphires! With those I could open the gates of KARESH!"... Sorry.
On this fine day, I made my way to the Victoria and Albert Museum. It is actually the last large and famous museum that I need to make time for. The remaining ones are basically little offshoots of actual buildings. (EX: Bank of England Museum, London Transport Museum, National Maritime Museum) I think I actually have all the big monuments out of the way now. A good feeling indeed. However, let's not get ahead of ourselves... I need to talk about the museum a bit. So I got there, and I was looking around and at some point I thought that the only place I could see exhibits was on the first floor. I started milling around and I was a little disappointed. I soon found a staircase that went down one level. So I thought that was cool. I found the staircase up out of that little basement area and it went to the main level and up one more. So I checked it out. To make a long story short, it went up three more levels... and I looked at them all. That's how I am though. When I go to a museum, I'll see everything if I have time. Afterward, there was a small garden where guests were welcome to sit down and take a small break... so I did just that. I laid out in the sun for a half hour and got a little rest.
To finish out my trip, I took a pass by Kensington Palace. It was cool to see, but you can't get really close to it or anything. I just walked by, took a few pics, and made my way back to the flat. I actually missed the palace on my last big trip through Hyde Park, so I'm glad I made time for it.
Finally, I am now back at the flat. I have pizza and pepsi max (which is just diet pepsi here, only geared towards young males... ding ding.. they got me... actually, pepsi is half the price of coke here.. so they got me for a very different reason). Joe and I are hanging out with our neighbors this evening and I'll be uploading some photos soon (over 200 from the past week). Plus, I'll soon be posting a bit of a joke article on the pros and cons of London. Now.. I just don't want everyone to go crazy and think I'm having a bad time. This is merely for fun and some information. Adios.
