Yeah. Things are expensive here, so I don't really go out and drink a lot. But... this evening... soccer was on in the pub, I was doing some writing, and I thought I might as well have a guiness. It was good and worth the 3 UK Pounds that I paid. It's not something I've been doing often, so it gave it an extra special feeling.
Tomorrow I've got semi big plans. For a Thursday anyway. I'm going to go off at about 9AM (I don't have to work, so that is nice) and try to get rush tickets (even though they don't call them rush tickets here... they don't call them anything) for Wicked. I'm really excited to go see it. I might get them and I might not. I don't know... but this city has a wealth of musical opportunities and they're pretty cheap for students. I'm excited for it.
Just for an update, I've been working on my fictional friday piece. I don't think it will get posted on Friday... but i've put way more work into this one than the last at this point. This weekend I'm going to Stonehenge and Bath.. plus, it is the Queen's official bday on Saturday.. known as the trooping of the colours.. i'll have some good pictures.. the trick will be for me to get up on Saturday morning and get a good spot on the mall so I can see. I hope everyone is having great summers thus far and I'm excited to get back and see everyone.
