I propose a race around the world. Meet me at Leister Square tomorrow. The Queen Herself will drop the checkered flag.

It’s a rainy day in London this morning so I’m just kind of hanging out, getting ready to go on a run on the track near our flat. I usually cruise through the park, but I don’t want to be a mile away from our place if it begins to downpour. Not that I’ll come back if it starts to rain anyway, but I’d like to have that option. These past two days have just been slow in general. Yesterday, Joe and I went on a walk from Bank tube station to Charing cross tube station. We saw St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Bank of England, and the Royal Courts of Justice. Plus, we each bought football jerseys. It will probably be the one souvenir that I buy on this trip for myself. I was going to go to the taste of London festival yesterday or today, but it turns out that a ticket to enter is 25 pounds. Just to enter! Again… that is $50 US…. So I decided that it wasn’t really worth it. After getting done on our journey yesterday, Joe and I got back to the flat and then headed to the bar for some dinner and drinks. There is a deal where you get a burger, chips, and a beer for 5 pounds. Not a bad deal at all in my opinion. It was satisfying. I got a little buzzed from the beer because I hadn’t eaten anything. We got back and it was about 8pm. My other roommates were really tired from the night before, so they were just hanging out playing family feud online. I think they played for three or four hours… and they never came in first… bummer. Oh well. I’ll post some new pictures later today, I’m running out of internet time for this week so I’m trying to conserve what I use. If anyone wants to chat on skype, I’m doing it tonight at 10pm (4pm central).

What the crap eric. We agreed on 11 o clock your time. Gretchen works until 4:30 central and probably will just make it to a 5 o clock conference call. This is really going to make her mad and you will not want to feel her wrath. I propose that you move the time back to 11 like we agreed on or else I am not talking to you. But I will log on at that time just to tell you I am not talking to you.
